Question for the ladies.

Goodmorning:
Question for the ladies. If your husband/boyfriend had WLS, would you prefer he have the excess skin removed? Or do you not mind a little saggy skin??

I had RNY 3 years ago. I lost 170+ lbs in 1 year and have been there ever since. Is it worth risk-trouble-hassle to get the excess removed? Does it gross you out to feel the excess??

Here is my journey w/ pics.

If it bothered him I would support him. But it wouldn't bother me if he had excess skin I would be happy he had the excess skin and was alive vs obese and dead or dying a slow death. You need to do what works best for you. If it bothers you that much get it removed.

You look great!!!   Wouldn't bother me at all but it's whether it bothers you or not!   I didn't have much excess skin at all, so my plastics were a vanity project, pure and simple ...

If you have the money, I'd say go for it!

if it would help your self esteem i say go for it,  however; if someone truly loves you they are going to love you saggy skin and all, and you look great so the sagging cant be that bad

Hi Santino,

I think the decision to do/or not do plastics is really one you have to decide on for yourself if it isn't based on a health related issue.

Just keep in mind that any woman who would negatively judge you by your body doesn't have the depth of character it would take to provide any seriously credible input.

Lastly, you've posted on this before, so I know it's really bothering you. You might want to consider talking to a therapist because you really do look fine. I'd never have you pegged as having had WLS.

Just by looking at your pic, I don't see anything I would change. I think you look great! Like a previous poster said, if they truely love you, it will not matter.

I think that you look fantastic, but I have seen you post this before so it must be something that is really bothering you! If it is something that would make you feel better about yourself then why not? You worked hard and if it something that is keeping you from the person you want to be then by all means go for it! It will come with scarring but I am sure you know that!
You look great and will either way!
Be confident with whatever you choose!
