Not Fast Enough!!!

I have had all my requirements done since August 7th.
My surgery is Sept 14th.
My pre-op is this Friday.

They finally submitted me to insurance on Thursday (Aug 23) of last week, but then BCBS requested medical records on Friday. They still haven't received them!!!! And, when I called - the lady who does this is out of the office. Sigh -- my inner control freak is freaking out.

Sorry, had to vent. I sure wish I could get the final ok and be done with this!!

So I guess what you are saying is that your surgery is TENATIVELY scheduled for September 14th....and it will be confirmed once all the paperwork/approvals is done?

I know the feeling, I have been waiting on a surgery date for over a month. I have all my requirements done since July 28. Insurance has already approved my surgery but everytime i think i am getting my date something else is required from the nursing staff, so frustating.
