6 days post op/1 week doc appt

Can't believe I'm already this far out! The 7 month pre diet... the waiting for approval... scheduling a date... the nervous week in between... surgery itself.... now one week out and I feel pretty good. I'm still sore sometimes, but i only need to take my pain killers one or twice a day now.  I can MOSTLY stand straight lol. I guess it'll be awhile. This recliner I'm sleeping in is starting to hurt my butt and back, but I just can't find any other way to relax my body. Anywho, I have my 1 week doc appointment today.  My mom went through all this just a year and a half ago with the same surgeon and he put her on mush foods the day after her appointment so hopefully I can get to phase 2 tomorrow! It's not the liquid diet that bothers me as much as the same flavors over and over... Well, guess that's my update for the day :)

I know how you feel I am nine days out. But my liquid diet lasts for a month. YUK
