let your body do what it wants to do. as long as your labs are good and you're healthy, the number on the scale doesn't matter too much. regain between yrs 2 and 3 can happen, so its ok to leave yourself a little wiggle room.

Get your RMR tested Nd this will give you a baseline for your caloric needs. Once you have this number you will know better what calories you need to maintain. For example my RMR is around 2100 so on 1000 calories I would probably get sick. You an still make smart choice and increase your calories. I eat a healthy well balanced diet and am 140 or more grams of protein I also enjoy fruits and veggies. The more knowledge you have about your body the better equipped you will be to maintain. Also a way to increase your health and healthy weight is through exercise especially weight training.

Good luck

It is smart to be 10, 20 or 30 pounds under your goal.  At the end of the honeymoon period there is a bounceback period.  That usually happens during the third year.  Then it is normal to gain back 20 or more pounds.  Many people look too skinny during year 2 after surgery.  It is extremely rare for them to look two skinny at the end of the third year.

This skinny period is part of how the surgery works.  You are not absorbing everything that you eat.  The best way to deal with it is to do nothing.  Keep up with your food, water and vitamins.  As long as you feel good, let the surgery do its thing.  You will stop losing naturally.

True maintenance starts at around month 30.  Right now you will lose no matter what you do.  One day that will stop and you will not gain but you will stop losing.  You will be able to eat more every week.  A good rule for long term maintenance is to multiply your goal weight by 10 and eat that amount of calories every day.  Your goal of 225 means about 2550 calories would be your long term maintenance goal.
