Damn I forgot how painful it is!

To be living high protein low carb. I will say I love the choices that endurance training gives me, I have to worry very little about what I eatas long as I keep my choices smart and at the right times.

Well a couple Saturdays ago as I was heading up with my youngest so. To go camping with Cub Scouts some idiot lady decided to make a left turn across traffic on a highway as I was coming the opposite direction. I hit the breaks and tried to avoid it but at that point Newton's laws of motion came into play. After jammin the brakes on and trying to avoid her our bodies in motion met and almost instantly came to a stop. Fortunately my youngest son was without injury, but I walked away with 2 broken ribs and a concusion. Well doc says no vigorous or intense activity for 6-8 weeks which means no training, and no training means no free foods. So dial back the carbs and kick up the protein.....

OH FREAKING HECK! I forgot just how miserable duecing is on a high protein diet. Seriously I think my butthole has stretched 3 sizes. Never mind the fact that I pray more while sitting on a toilet then I ever have in church, AND I HAVE BEEN TO A CHURCH OF ENGLAND SERVICE!

I can survive and heal from the broken rips but not so sure about having my butthole stretch like I am passing a 2 liter soda bottle! Think I can claim this as pain and suffering?

You cracked me up!  No, I don't think you can claim it as pain and suffering ALTHOUGH IT IS!  I suggest a nice $10 jar of Miralax can help you move things along.  (no pun intended!)

LMAO! I was not expecting the poop turn so I cracked up when I got to that. I thought this was going to be about how difficult it is to not eat carbs when you've been carb loading for so long, lol. Poor Paul and his pitiful butt. I hope it gets better for you and that you heal quickly so you can get back to your training. My hubby would be driving me up a freaking wall if he couldn't train every day!

Get thee plenty of water and some stool softeners.

Make sure to keep us posted on your....ummm.. progress.

Glad your son is okay and that you weren't hurt worse. Stupid physics!
