Hi Y'all!

I have a ridiculous question. I am 3 weeks and 4 days out and I have lost 32 pounds so far! YAY ME!! But I have noticed if I sit for a long time no matter on what....my butt / tail bone hurts and is SO sore!! I sat in church this morning and had lunch out with my family. I just got home and sat down to rest. It hurts like ****!! I know I have lost some padding but not that much or maybe so.  It is SO strange!!

Has anybody else had this issue?

Thanks!

Amy :)

I did.  It still can get sore if I sit wrong, but after a few months I didn't have too big an issue anymore.  i also made a point to work my glut muscles to try and refirm up that area

lol - yes, it is a pain! All I can tell you is that you adjust. I don't know if it's because the area gets less sensitive over time to pressure, or if you subconsciously adjust how you sit, but I don't notice it now nearly as much as when I first was losing the weight.
And congrats on your loss!

Yes, it has happened to me too.  I can't sit on our dinner room table chairs very long now either.

I sit on a u-shaped neck pillow with the opening in the back, so my tailbone is over air.  It's small and lightweight, and I carry it with me when I know I'll have to sit on a hard chair for a long time (like my 2.5 hour class.)

A year out and I still deal with crazy tailbone pain.  The chair doesn't even have to be hard and it hurts.  Couches, movie theater seats etc...  All hurt.  Discouraging, yes.  I need to look into a pillow or something.

Thanks everybody!

At least I know I am not alone. Guess I need to invest in a good memory foam pillow. I have many years or sitting especially bleacher sitting ahead of me. LOL!

Thanks again!
