What would I do without you all???
Okay, so I took the advice that you had all given me (I have body image issues) and I went out and bought a few new pieces of clothing at Gabriel Brothers (I went thrifty). After a few squabbles with my husband, who kept pulling clothing out and saying "you can fit that!", I gave in and tried some stuff on. I nearly fell over in the fitting room. I was frumping around in my old clothing which was literally falling down when I walked (size 32 pant, 4/5x shirt), but fit loosely in a 24 (I need a 23) pant and 2x top. I put few outfits in the cart and explained to my husband that the only reason they fit was because they were seconds/irregular and sized incorrectly (that kept him kinda quiet). Later we went to a "regular" clothing store and I suppose I needed to prove myself right (that I couldn't fit into a normal 22/24), so I tried on some jeans, dress pants, and a few tops (22/24s and 2xs). I'll be darned... they fit. So, then I had to "eat some crow" because the husband was standing outside the dressing room and believe me you--- he was lovingly full of the "I told you so." I'll say this once... he was right and I was wrong...this time. LOL.
Anywho, my point is that because of the encouragement and direction I received from you all... I feel much better about my progress. The image in the mirror is still tricking me, but the 8 inch difference in the waist of my pants...says it all!!
Thank you!!!!!
You go girl!!!

Wow! That is such a wonderful progress update!!! I still look at my clothes and say 'no way that's going to fit' even though I know they do (and I'm almost 3 years post-op) If it weren't for my fiance', I would never try on some of the things that are in my closet.
Keep up the awesome work!! Sizes are going to be flying off you! Awesome!
