SF candy
Is it ok to have SF hard candy after surgery to help with dry mouth? I bought some the other day but thought I better check with some of the "vets" before I packed it in my hospital bag. I also got the Biotene mouth spray that a few ppl recommended.
Yeah, right after surgery, the last thing you want to do is find out you are extra sensitive to sugar alcohols. Leave them at home. I am actually more sensitive to sugar alcohols than to sugar, so I actually usually just opt for full sugar items in smaller amounts than sugar free stuff with sugar alcohols.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
What helped me was taking small sips of water, or suck on ice chips...Plus I took along and used a lot of Carmex lip balm...So make sure you take your favorite lip balm along...Good luck on your surgery!!!
P.S. Don't forget to take your measurements if you haven't already!
Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only TRUE FRIENDS will leave footprints in your heart...And may that friendship have such a ONENESS that when one weeps the other will taste salt...Friends are like balloons ; once you let them go you can't get them back....So I'm going to tie you to my heart so I never lose you.
Thanks. I still have to take my measurements. Don't have a tape here so I'll use mom's.
