Its been 8 weeks since my surgery and I am always hungry. I lost 55 lbs before surgery and only 30 since. Im easily getting in my protein but if it wasnt for self control I could eat a horse.. Anyone else have these issues??

I feel like I could eat a horse and its trailer the days I forget to take my nexium- no acid like I used to have just undesired hunger! Do you take a ppi for acid, it affects some people more than others.

Are you getting enough water? Just a thought. If you are getting enough protein-then it could be not enough water.

make sure you aren't eating while drinking, also there is a period of time where the nerves are healing and the full sensation is difficult to achieve...good luck

I wonder if you actually ate what you think you want to eat if you would have different thoughts. I guess what I mean is that I have thought I am much hungrier than I really am and when I kept eating...I felt it and didn't like it. Just a thought. I agree with the drinking lots of water...also not drinking with meals (duh...I am sure you know this) and snacks, snacks, snacks! :)
