I'M APPROVED!!!!!!

Just got a call from the surgeons office, and I am approved for surgery on Feb 7. I have tricare prime and it took a full 5 days to approve. I start my liquid diet on the 24th and have to stay on it for 2 weeks before my surgery and 6 weeks after surgery. Something tells me that will be tough, but it will be worth it in the end. I am sooo excited!!! Just wanted to share with everyone. Thanks for everyone's support throughout this whole process and I really apprieciate it!

Congatulations!  My paperwork was submitted yesterday (or so I was told) and I have UHC.  I hope I soon I will know if i got approved or not.. :)  So happy for you. :)

My paperwork was also submitted yesterday.  I am so impatient and just want to hear back from them...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

The first few days of the liquid diet were rough, but easy breezy past day 3. After surgery, I did not want to even think about food. It was WAY easier after that. I did not start wanting real food until during week 6. Once I ate my 1st refried beans, I was over wanting food. LOL.
