Well, I don't dump. I've had some things over the last month, and nothing happened. It's kind of a bummer, but I just have to be extra vigilant about keeping sugar under control.

I've had foods with too many carbs and didn't dump. Then the next time I ate the exact same thing and amount and I did dump. Don't know why. You might find that happening to you too.

Good to know! I'll have to see if that is true for me. Thanks!

Until you have full fat, full sugar ice cream?   I won't believe it.  LOL

I am not a dumper either! I thought I would be bummed about it but I have learned from the last few months that I need to continue to make good food choices. Continue to stay with a dietician and remember one could easily fall back into old habits so liek you said we need to be extra vigilant!

Only a small percentage dump if I can believe my NUT. I have known from day 1 due to an accidental purchase and ingestion that I dont dump. I sorta wanted to also so I could keep myself on track but sweet things do not taste good to me so...... However, greasy foods make me really sick.

Dumping is overrated. Not an experience I'd wish on anyone. And even when you dump, it's not a guarantee that it'll keep you off the "naughty foods". I dumped early on but my threshold has changed over time, so for me to dump now requires very high fat & very high sugar and quantities that I have no good reason to eat.... But I could always make the choice to deal with the symptoms. So, it's not a fool-proof deterrant....

Be glad you don't! Yes you have to use more self control but it also means you can relax a bit when mistakes are made and not worry about being sick. You don't have to be sugar free for the rest of your life. You can have that little slice of cake at a party or enjoy a candy cane at Christmas without worrying you'll get dizzy and fall on the floor. I have a huge list of foods I most likely will never be able to eat again and it sucks.
