Day two of pre-op liquid diet

Last night was a little challenge. I seem to get really hungry the latter it is. I ate some Samson chicken broth it had the flavor I liked but the smell of it was awful. I was about to get a few sips in. It was enough to settle my appetite down. I think it was the smell that killed the appetite. I will try it again to night when that little green monster rears it head.

SO this morning I am drinking the protein shake again this time with two packets of splenda instead of three, it taste much better. Stomach is growling but my appetite is at bay.

Today is my first day. Wishing US the best!!

its not easy on a liquid diet   my  dietian  allowed me  cukes or  a bowl of  leafy greens with vinger and it helped  get thur this alot maybe ask them also sugar free jello too

Iam allowed the sugarfree jello and pudding and Eggbeater so that helps

My surgeon had me on a clear liquid diet for 7 days pre-op. I thought I couldn't do it but I was so stoked for my surgery it flew by. You can do it! Good luck!

Yes, that is how iam feeling right now.  I have been trying to get this surgery for ten years and now to be this close I am overly excited

I am starting today on my pre-op liquid diet...I went to the dr's office this morning and they moved my surgery so I have to start today...I am worried about being hungry but can do anything for 5 days right? :)
