Im so glad to read this because this is the main reason for me having this surgery. After a year on CPAP I cant stand it anymore. I hate being dependent on it to sleep.

Visit my blog as I travel this new developing road. :)

Went away after the first few months.  I think about when I had lost 40ish lbs, which put me at around 200# when I could stop using my machine.

Mine went away 2 months after surgery. At our support group meeting they reported that most folks have it go away, but some people like using the machine and keep using it.

I am one of THOSE people... I love my CPAP,

I've been on a cpap for over 5 years.. has Gastric Bypass in July 2012 went for a sleep study in January, still need a cpap but I'm ok with that. It helps me sleep better....

I will try another sleep study after a year
