Yippee! Meeting with surgeon!

Finally meeting with surgeon May 9.....wondering whats next?

LOTS of pre-op tests! Of course that depends on your insurance and surgeon, but you will still have some.

I had:

Chest x-rays

Abdominal Ultrasound

Upper Endoscopy

Blood Work

Psychological Evaluation (very lengthy either by my surgeon or insurance choice not sure)

Nutritionist visits

Nurse Visit

Bariatric Nurse Interview

Bariatric Education Class

Pulmonary Clearance

I have had a CPAP for 10 years, but those that don't usually have a sleep study as well

I'm sure there's something I missed of my own and there are others out there that can add to the list as well. Not all tests are required by all insurance/surgeons so your list may be a little different (longer/shorter/other items).
