Krill Oil and Coenzyme Q10 - Absorbing after RNY

Hi All:

I searched the database and could not really find a definitive answer.....

Does anyone with RNY take Krill Oil or CoEnzyme Q10 supplements?

I understand the Krill Oil is more concentrated and absorbable than fish oil... Don;t know much about Q 10 other than for non-RNY folk, i is highly recommended.

I know that we can take the Coromega packets but they make me GAG!!!

my doctor requires you take the Co Q10 for several months after the surgery, so it must absorb ok Id think. I took it in liquid as I've never been able to swallow pills but he said either was fine.

I did not realize it was available as a liquid..... I'll start looking.

What was the dose he recommended?

I take krill oil and I get my blood tests tomorrow.
