Gained weight but had a positive side effect

Well, my honeymoon malabsorption period is probably over (nearing three years) PLUS I hurt my arm and have had to slow down on my workout for a month now...

As a result, I gained 6-8 pounds.

Normally, that would have freaked me out.... but I think I needed it! My face is so much fuller and I look younger!!!

Everyone is asking me if I started a new skincare routine so I guess it didn't settle anywhere too obvious on my body.

Anywho... I now have a new goal weight. Now I just have to stay here!!!!

Great side effect! Congrats on your success, too!

Congrats on finding what works for you!!  Did you really consistently lose for the whole 3 yr post op period?  I am 11 months post op and I am such a slow loser, that I sometimes feel like my Honeymoon Phase is already over!!  I was 286 at my first appt with the surgeon, then I was 258 the day of my surgery, 6 months later and today, I weigh 193.  So only 7 lbs away from a 100 lb total loss since I started, but only 65 lbs lost since my actual surgery.  Do you remember what your daily caloric intake was the first year or two?  I would love to compare and see if I am doing something wrong to contribute to my slow loss?  I have gone way down in inches and clothing size, from a size 24 to 14 !!!  So that rocks !  Look forward to your reply and COngrats again!!
