I had RNY almost 3 yrs ago. I lost 150 pounds. I have regained 5-7 pounds, but I am good w/ being a couple pounds above or below 200 as I started at 350!!! One of the benefits of WLS is the affect it can have on families. Since my surgery, my wife and 3 kids have done well as well...my wife has lost over 40 lbs, my oldest daughter 45 and my two younger kids are very well aware of the importtance of diet and healthy lifestyle.  Over the last month or so my 13 yr. old son has been going to the gym working out with me...the other day I was looking at him and was overcome with how blessed I am ...

Yours in WLS Journey,

Bill Mac

It's the little things in life that remind us how lucky we truly are. Good job on your weight loss. A new shot at life is a priceless gift. I'm glad that you're making the most of it. Keep up the good work!

Even though I'm a newbie, my diet foods seem to be transferring to DH. Went shopping and he's said he didn't need candy or chips. He also wants to walk with me. Congrats to you on your family success.

I'm only 6 weeks out but my husband has also started watching his diet, including getting rid of 1600 calories in Dr Pepper daily, and working out. Looking forward to a new and healthier lifestyle for us all.
