Advice for pre op period...RNY scheduled Nov 5

I feel like I am  nesting to give birth. I have desire to get organized. I started a food diary using fitness pal. I am eating protein first. I am trying to remember to chew, chew , chew..cut down on coffee and increase water.

I am going to buy a journal. I still haven't started exercising (something I actually like to do when I can move easier). My surgeon doesn't require a special diet preop. I am also getting rid of foods that tempt me that I shouldn't eat (we are empty nesters) and purchasing smaller plastic containers to bring food to word. Any other advice would be appreciated.

Hey there, my RNY is on Nov. 7th. I have been using my fitness pal for the past 6 months and it really helps.

Stock up on post surgical diet supplies. Whatever your surgeon requires.
Every time I make soup- I'm freezing portions in ice cube trays- then ziplock-ing individual portions of broth.
I've gotten a bunch of protein samples from GNC. Sugar free jello. GasX- lol.
I'm starting to freeze casserole meals for my kids....
