Surgery 10/29/13 - Anyone else?

Hi!  I find so much inspiration from this board and all it's contributors.  Thank you so much!

My surgery is scheduled for October 29th!  Will I have any surgery buddies on the same day?  Anxious and excited at the same time.  Just ready for new beginnings!

I am 6 weeks post surgery....  Good Luck!!!!!  

Hey - my surgery is scheduled on October 28 so I think that still qualifies us as surgery buddies!!  I'm just like you - bouncing between so excited and so anxious/nervous, but more than anything just looking forward to a new way of living.  Good luck to you on your new beginning!!

We at going to do great!  It's so helpful to have a place like this to come to for encouragement and tips. I'm right behind ya!  We can do this and by next summer we can all be doing the things we missed out on for years!  Looking forward to getting out and enjoying life again.
