question - the past few days I have been having dips in my BP.
The school nurse reminded me of a few things about changing body composition and chemistry and had me take my BP a few times a day. And see my PCP as soon as possible.
He was out today so I need to call in the morning. I skipped my BP medicine today in fear of it going any lower. The highest it was today is 90/51. The machine won't register anything, I have headache and pale. DH is getting worried.
Is this common?

Mine is usually about 90/50, and when standing can drop to 60/40 or less. In my case it's orthostatic hypotension. Staying well hydrated is the best solution, and was told to get extra salt and electrolytes in my diet.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
I'm not on bp meds, so I'm not sure how much help I can be.
How much water are you drinking? I have to drink at least 100 oz or I get dizzy. I passed out twice yesterday because I hadn't been drinking enough the past few days.
My pcp told me to add salt to my diet because of all the water I drink now. She said it should help keep my bp from getting too low.
