Surgiversary with pics!!!!!
Can't believe its been 1 year since my surgery. Life feels like a whirlwind. I've had so many successes in my career, family and marriage. I remember last year feeling hopeless and defeated. I knew surgery was the best thing but I was scared to death. I wrote my children goodbye letters in the event I didn't wake up from surgery. Today, I am more active with my children. I'm no longer the fat mom in the school and the fat lady in the board room. I've been promote from director to executive and I speak at various conferences. The old me would have never stood in front of an audience, but today I own the crowd! I laugh and smile all the time because I'm beyond happy with where my life is today! I wish everyone going through this process much success. You will not be disappointed!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
LaToya, You have just written my post even though I've yet to have the surgery. I have thought over and over about how to say goodbye to my son if by chance I don't come through this. On the other hand I've had so many positive thoughts about how much my life will change for the better and even if it doesn't how much I will be able to handle things being healthier. Thanks for posting!!!
