Finally Have My Date! Any surger sisters?

After rushing everything with Tricare, I was approved after the 1st try and I finally have my date....December 19! Everything is becoming so real now and I am so anxious excited. I had my IVC filter placed today because my surgeon does it for patients whose BMI is 45 and over.  I feel like I am going to be on autopilot from now until the surgery, with Thanksgiving and studying for finals. I've been practicing using a smaller plate, chewing, not using straws and researching everything I can eat for each stage of the diet.   

 

Are there any surgery sisters/brothers out there?

  I am your twin! My surgery date is December 16th.   Having RNY at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan.  I begin my 2 week liquid diet on Sunday.  Do you have a diet to follow?

I do and mine started today. It's pretty easy to follow :) I am having surgery in Traverse City, MI

I am struggling a bit with the diet.  Mine is a liquid diet.  Is that what you are following as well?  I had a hard time getting the first shake down.  

 

No mine is high protein low carb and three shakes a day. My first shake was a little hard as well

I dont have the same day but the same month....December 2nd. Congrats on getting your date so fast. Im sure you are as anxious as I have been.  Do you have to do a liquid diet at anytime?
