100lb down progress pic
So apparently what I do now is jump on here every couple of months to wave and say "hey, everything's going fine!" :)
I'm nearly 7 months out from surgery and hit a really big SV and NSV this week. First: 100 POUNDS TOTAL! And second: shopping in a regular store again, woot woot! I've been ordering Old Navy clothes from their online-only plus-size section for years, but I decided to wander down to the brick-and-mortar and I fit easily into regular XXL now. Yay, no more paying for shipping!
As a reminder, I'm the one who broke her leg really a month after my surgery. Update on that front is: I can walk now! I still limp, but considering where I was 3 months ago, I'm okay with that. Getting back into exercising has been slow going. Basically I've been stationary bike riding and some free weights, but hoping to continue picking it up. Even with the limp I get around better than I did before surgery, haha. Seriously, I couldn't walk a block without getting winded, and now I can walk pretty much wherever, just very SLOWLY.
So here's a current before/after. The pic is from last week, obligatory first week of January in the gym picture ha.
I'm also happy to answer any questions that new people might have about how things have gone for me. It's been pretty darn smooth from just the surgery standpoint, happy to say! The broken leg was a lot worse lol.
