Tomorrow I go for my four week dr visit. I haven't done great as faras losing weight but that could just be my own issue. In two weeksaince my last visit I am down six pounds seems low to me. I'm doing good on liquids. Pureed food is nasty but force myself to eat so I can get protein. Only complaint is my taste buds are all messed up and I have no appetite. Oh but I love my sf popsicles. Still happy I did tge surgery but ready to feel normal again. If that makes sense.

you are doing fine. The avg weight loss when averaged out for most is 3-5 pounds a week with some weeks losing none. You've lost 28 pounds in 4 weeks averaging 7 pounds a week, you are above average! You also lost a lot of weight pre op which can sometimes mean your weight will go down slower but don't despair it's a journey to wellness not a quick trip!

I just sometimes feel like I will be disappointing the doc or my husband. Ifeel like I am doing good but there is always that small worry that I could be doing better.

I do too. I just had my 6 mos appointment and I didn't want to go because I hate getting on the scale and feeling like a failure. But I went on Friday and heard nothing but good things! And I was told that I was an above average loser lol!!   Ha ha. So much of this is a mental game.

Oh sweetie dont let the judgement of others get you down. You knoe if you have done all the right things. Sine you have, then you are a success. They should help you and not be disappointed in you!
