anyone in fear of gainng weight?
Lately i am afraid to eat cause im in fear of gaining weight. When my doctor weighs me i am scared to know if i gained or not. If the scale shows i gained A pound im depressed and feel guilty. I have recently started to look at calories and everyhing. i look at myself in the mirror and think im fat but others have told me im crazy. Today i had pretezles,cheese and some chicken. i feel ive ate too much today but others have said no. I have lost 115 pounds in 9 months and am very scared to gain it back...... please Whats wrong with me?
You need to see a therapist - this has the potential to become an eating disorder if not tackled early.
I know you are a post and runner (never reply) but I hope you will at least read some of the advice you get to this and other questions you post!

Are you talking with a therapist at all? These are the sorts of thought patterns I can see myself falling into, so I'm working on finding a therapist to help me out now.

That might be a good place to start! A call to your insurance company will help you figure out your benefits and find a therapist.

You should track your calories. Set a goal for your caloric intake and stick with it -- then you know you aren't eating too much. The nutritionist should have guidelines for you. You SHOULD be looking at the calories in everything. That is not a bad thing, it is a good thing. Your brain will take time to catch up to the mirror. It sounds like you do not have an eating plan. If you plan to eat you won't keep guessing and you will keep losing or maintaining.
