On Monday I have my orientation in Toronto Canada. Would any one have any ideas what to expect?

Information overload!! LOL They will give you a ton of information and what to expect... I brought home all the literature and reread it a few times... :-)

GUELPH. Referral: Dec 6/13. Orientation: Mar 6/14, Post-op Diet Class: Sept 22/14, Meeting with Surgeon: Dec 2/14, Surgery: Jan 22/15

...types of surgery available, thorough list of surgery risks, nutritional guidelines required pre and post-op, insurance process, tour of the facility, and question/answer time. It was helpful to meet former WLS patients--one of them gently trying to calm me down by saying, "the decision to have this surgery is like taking a giant leap of faith." I walked into orientation feeling scared and ashamed but left feeling blessed to have hope again.
