Taking vitamins on Vacay in my Carry on

Going to Mexico for a week.

Want to take my vitamins with me in my carry on.

Can I?

Or will I have to check my bag? Which I do not want to do because we have a connecting flight.......... 

Any help would be appreciated.

You should be fine as long as they are pills and not liquid.  I took my pills with no problems on a plane.  They are very particular about liquids, though!

Have taken mine many many times over the last 10 years and never had a problem.  The only problem would be liquids or maybe powder that's not labelled.

This is good to know. How is it best to pack them?

Should I go ahead and put them in my daily container? It's a strip with M-F boxes. I use one of them daily. I would have to take seven of them.

Or do I put them in baggies and take one strip to be filled each day?

Any prescription meds should be in their original bottles.  I sort the vitamins into my weekly planner and take them like that.

I have never had problems caring meds or vits on, I always have them in their original bottles.

Glad you asked this question. We will be flying for spring break and I was wondering the same thing. I'm also wondering about my protein powder. I hate to take that huge container. Hubby says to buys some when we get there but what if they don't have the brand or flavor that I like! Luckily the last time I got carafate at the pharmacy they gave me some in a small bottle. It was like 2 or 3 oz so that will be going with me on the plane. I'm checking in some luggage so anything I have a question about I'll just check it in but I would like to carry some with me just in case.

I am going without my protein. They have Costco there so I might just go and get some RTD for the week. It depends. 

Seriously the CARAFATE has been a pain in the rear since this surgery!!!!! LOL!!!!!

I asked for a small bottle to take on the plan at CVS. Then put a new label on it and I hope that is good enough. I am taking that with me on the plane.

I am sure I am worrying for nothing!
