multivitamins--HELP
I haven't been on this forum for a LONG while--I'm 18 months out and am maintaining my weight loss. I have a horrible time swallowing not only my prescription meds but all the extra vitamins and supplements I have to take--ok, for my multivitamin I've been taking the Nature's Made Mini's Full strngth Multivitamins every since my surgery. For some reason I can't find them at our local stores now --does anyone have a suggestion for another multivitamin that is easy to swallow (I tried One A day and couldn't get them down). Please don't say to just crush them--I tried that and threw up all day long. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thank you for your help.
I use Centrum Adult chewables. I switched to chewable because I get tired of swallowing pills. I also use Upcal-D for calcium everyday so that is another one I don't have to swallow whole.

It doesn't leave me with the after taste I got with swallowing whole ones. I get them at Walmart.

How about a chewable multi? Or ENS drink mix from Celebrate?

Hi,
I use the Bariatric Advantage "Orange" flavoured Chewable multivitamins. I just love them! Like you the others pills were literally getting "stuck" after swallowing and I even used a pill cutter to split them into fours, they still got stuck. I am now using Chewable's for my multi, regular capsule for my Iron (its a Tylenol pill size so goes down fine), B12 is a under the tongue melt-away and my Calcium chews are easy and quite delicious and my Vit D pills are tiny, like the size of a Skittle candy so they go down fine. Hope you find what works for you, its often a trial and error kind of thing.
