Go eat some french fries!
I finally came to the realization of just how well I am doing with my weight loss when I heard the line, "Go eat some french fries!" This past week I finally made it to wonderland, and became a threat to my daughter...LOL. Very lovingly she told me to "Go eat some french fries", with a huge smile on her face. She has been one of my greatest support people through out my journey. I know that I am now a threat that I may actually drop below her weight, and I know it really bothers her. I also know that she is excited to see me and my new life. Anyway, I am happy to report that I haven't eaten any french fries, nor do I plan to.
Congrats on your success so far. It is amazing when it is people that we love that all of a sudden try to sabotage us, even if unintentionally. I am proud of you for not rewarding yourself with French fries, or fallen for the temptation as you surely do "deserve" it mentality. It must be hard to see that you are close to be smaller than her. Congratulations for seeing that as well as being sensitive to it. We are much better prepared when we see what is coming at us with clear vision. Keep up the good work, surgery buddy.

Congrats on onederland! I am right behind you (214)! I have 2 teenagers and find it humorous how upset me daughter gets with the realization that I can now wear her tops, boots, and coats. She has been "borrowing" my oversized tops (to wear with leggings) for awhile now. And my teenage son trying to be supportive brings me home a huge frozen yogurt sunday then he's happy to eat it himself when I tell him that I can't eat that.
