Down Just over 60lbs at 2.5 months post op

I go two weeks from today for my 3 month post op appointment and blood work.

This AM, I was 63.5 lbs down from when I started this journey.

Yesterday, I bought a 31 lb bag of dog food and could not believe that I had (less than 3 months ago) been carrying the equivalent of two of those bags everywhere I went.  I mean, I could have carried two bags up the stairs, but I would have been very winded.

So now after 2.5 months, I am feeling great.  I have a long way to go, but I am feeling incredible about where I am.

So, go out and find an equivalent weight to what you have lost and pick it up and realize just how far you have come.

That is so awesome!  I can't wait to be in that place.  I always think its amazing when they have the pieces of "fat" at the NUTs office they seem huge!  It's crazy to think what we carry around everyday.

Congrats - that's a huge amount of weight in such a short time. I'll bet you feel so much better not carrying that baggage around. And there's only more benefits to come.

I do feel great.

Out of curiosity, I found a list of average weights of children at different ages, I have lost a 9 yr old child.

I do not feel like I was that big, but I guess so.

That is INCREDIBLE... I cannot wait to see those type of results. I am post op as of April 15th. I work out everyday. but I go back to work next week.. that is where the challenge begins. to keep enough energy to get thru my work day on a busy TCU. No doubt the fat will disappear quicker, with more activity. So far I am doing Pilates, weights, and my Fluidity bar training.. which I LOVE.. but GOOD JOB!!

Thank you Katie.

I try to be a positive person and to help wherever I can.

And to the poster that had surgery on April 15th, it will happen.  It is slower going than we probably want, but the weight comes off and it makes a real difference quickly.

Jeffery, you're doing fantastic! I'm glad to hear you feeling so good. What a difference that 60 pounds makes, right? I remember picking up two 43 pound boxes of kitty litter, and realizing "OMG, I used to weight this much myself!" It's quite a realization.

Keep up the great work!
