Nearly three years... a picture is worth a thousand words...

It took a while, but I am not sure I could be much happier at this point in my life... I'll post more next month on my official 3-year anniversary, but I was just in the mood this morning... and the boyfriend captured this perfect picture last week...

I get what you mean about being happy, it definitely took a long time to come for me, and it's still a work in progress.

Thank you!  It kind of summarizes my life... fit, happy, carefree... bike trip with the boyfriend... all three of my kids are relatively happy at the moment, etc, etc...

I had a tough first couple years after RNY due to personal and professional issues.  I learned the hard way that losing weight doesn't fix all of your problems... it's a start, but the ultimate fix comes from within.
