Lab work question

so I am having my first ever labs done. I am 11 months out. My one year anniversary is next month and I will meet with my surgeon to go over my results.

the orders I was given say to

fast

and hold b12 injection one week prior to blood draw

i don't do b12 injections,I do the sublingual tabs.

do I stop taking the b12 or not?

Personally, yes, I would assume so.  Why not just call and ask to be sure, though?

I'd call the office to ask about the sublingual B12.

but that is how my center does it....

I would stop the b12 a week before. I had my labs done at the last visit and have to have them done at the one year also. I wonder why they didn't have them done before now?

I don't know why either.... I asked them at every visit. 

Maybe it has to do with your insurance plan?

UPDATE.....

Got the call back AND
they said to only hold if using injectable b12 otherwise keep on keeping on 

and have labs done.
