Protein HELP!
I know that protein drinks are very important. The problem? They taste disgusting!! Please help me find a solution to this. They make me gag! i start my liquid diet tomorrow. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do to these protein drinks to make them more palatable? I really hope there is something I can do. HELP!

Like 3B said, you just have to do it! It sucks, but remind yourself that it is a limited period of time and you're doing this because you're committed to making a new life!
Not sure what your program calls for (mine wanted us to use SlimFast in the pre-op liquid diet phase), but if there is some flexibility look into some of the less sweet flavors of protein powders like Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea or Unjury Chicken Soup.
Good luck and keep your goal in mind!

For what it's worth, protein supplements are not a requirement. Phasing them out is something to consider, especially since you don't like them. Per my surgeon's plan, I was meeting my protein needs exclusively through food at the same time post-op as you.
Edited to Add - Your profile says you had lap band in '07 but you might be a recent revision? If so, my advice applies in general but you may still be too early out to eliminate supplements. My surgeon's plan weaned us off shakes from weeks 6-9.
