Awesome news today !

So I got my authorization approved today and I also talked to a rep. from my insurance company and I've met my deductible and my out of pocket maximum is just about met too, so my surgery, hospital stay, doctor fee, meds, and anesthesiologist fees will cost me a grand total of $37.50, the remaining amount of my out of pocket maximum !!!! What great news for me !!! Merry Christmas !!!!! My surgery is scheduled for December 17th ~

Awesome!!! I hope to get my approval this year too. I sent mine in on Dec 1st but of course I called and they kept saying they was not showing so we resent it on the 3rd and I called the next day and they said it was showing in the system now. I have not called back yet thought I would wait till Monday but I am afraid they wont approve it in time or if they approve it they will probably find a way too not approve it. I am praying they do.

What awesome news!!

Feels good, doesn't it.  Our insurance changed this year (for the worse, of course), and this ended up being the year that my wife and daughter needed multiple procedures.  This was the silver lining for my out of pocket:  under $100.
