desired the crunchy texture
I was going crazy for some chips today and I have been doing low carb for 10 days. I want to make sure my liver shrink so that I will have surgery. I took some green beans (fresh) and put them in an almond milk (unsweetened) and egg mixture and then some crumbled corn flakes and baked them for 15 mins. On a cookie sheet, sprinkled garlic powder and parmesian cheese on top and I had a healthy crunchy treat that stopped the food craving.

I can relate to missing texture! What I found fabulous was taking a slice of cheese (not a processed cheese slice) cutting it into little triangles, and microwaving on a sheet of parchment paper. These made little cheese chips and I could have all of the crunch, but no carbs and found a protein source. They worked well for scooping up tuna salad too :)
