Help me COFFEE!!

My Dietician at the surgeons office says I can count up to 2 cups of caffeinated coffee a day as part of my total liquids. I also still drink a protein drink and count that as part of my liquids too. I too try to drink 16 oz of water in AM before anything else. Otherwise I find it hard to get enough in. For me that 6 cups liquid already then I only have to get two more in. Sometimes I get more, but I don't feel that "I have to get it in' pressure.

Thanks everybody. This helps a lot. Even though it seems like common sense you get out of the routine of doing the "right things" once in a while. I will keep water now by my bed since I do wake up thirsty. I will also bring a big bottle of Crystal light & water to work. I love the lemon Crystal light. I just needed some reinforcement from you guys :)
