Today was my 1 year surgiversary! Down 99 lbs and 3 lbs from my goal weight. I have my one year appointment with my surgeon on May 5 and want to lose those 3 lbs. But if not I'm happy with the 99 lbs I have lost. I'm so happy I made the decision to have WLS. It truly has given me back my life. I'm ready to continue my journey of good health. Thank you for the advice and support this past year. My next goal...finish my masters and learning maintenance. And to those of you just starting your journey it's frustrating, scary, exciting, challenging but well worth it. Follow your teams guidelines and stay connected here and you will succeed.

Carpe Diem!

Good for you! Congratulations! I always had goals for when I went to the Doc's office. I hope you make it, you have a few weeks...

I am trying to learn maintenance as well...honestly not much has changed. I am trying to decide on a 5lb range I am happy with...I am calling it my "Happy Place". Rather than picking a single number. Reality is your weight fluctuates day to day, and I am a daily weigher... so don't want to get caught up in a single number.
