You're going to waste your "honeymoon" period eating cookies and not following the plan.  It will be no ones fault but your own if you don't make it to goal.  Stop eating things that "you can" and get your protein in.

Don't waste this time.   You will never be able to lose the weight as quickly as you can now.

Hi Godiva: I track my protein every day and get it in; the issue today is that I thought I had room after my protein lunch (2 hard boiled eggs). Well, I really didn't but I stuffed it in there anyway. That was my mistake and misstep. I post here because it keeps me accountable. I've learned my lesson and I don't want to wasted this time.

I may have it completely wrong, but I think what LG was pointing out and is concerned about is not so much that you thought you "had more room" and ate more than your lunch.  The bigger red flag I think is that you chose to fill that extra room with cookies.

If you felt the need to eat more then have another protein.  I have to ask did you pack the cookie with your lunch or was it something that you had seen and felt you could eat?  Either way it is a very slippery slope you could be heading down.

It was a cookie from a tray my coworker brought in. It was very close to my cube. I think next time I'll ask her to put cookies somewhere where I can't see them.

I am stopping this slippery slope *now*. I can't afford to mess this up.

Good plan.  I have one who always brings in bags of candy for the guys.  I asked her to put them upstairs in the break room instead of in a bowl on my desk.  I have willpower, but dam those mini almond joys just taunt me.

In a couple of years if you want ONE cookie AFTER you hit goal and know you can have only one, then by all means have one, but make sure you can control yourself as it does get harder the further out you are from surgery.

Lady Godiva,

I *think* she knows. I think she's holding herself accountable in front of all of us, but I agree with you. I'm afraid to put a carb or sweet in front of my piehole, because "what if" I don't dump, and then I start eating that **** and don't lose the weight? It's just not worth it to me.

Given the limited period of time we have to really lose quickly, I'm just not willing to take any chances.

Cheremiste: stay away from sweet stuff! Don't look at it, don't smell it! Dont' think about it!
