Hi friends:

Welp, this morning I weighed in at 241, so that's 60 lbs down from my top weight and 49 down since surgery.

I'm quite pleased.

Other victories:

-I'm wearing a size 18 now. I bought two pairs of capris and a new pair of jeans yesterday and they fit!

-I can get into deeper twists in yoga since my belly isn't as big

-Sleep apnea has improved; I see the sleep doctor to see if my settings can be changed

-All my rings are looser

-I'm less sweaty

-I definitely feel "lighter" on my feet; Mom says I don't sound as stompy when I'm walking around upstairs

-My coworker said it looks like I've had a facelift since my face is a lot thinner

-I can cross my legs

ETA: Also! I have almost no facial or neck hair anymore!

That's what I can think of now. And I thank all of you for your support :)

Wait until you get out of plus size and each month you are dropping a pants size it seems- i must have another room that is full of clothes I'm selling to put toward new ones. Don't be surprised if those pants only last about a month till they are coming off!!

Yes, I've dropped from a 24 to an 18 since my top weight. Feels good. I tried on a regular (non plus size) 18 yesterday at Walmart but it didn't fit. I'm staying in plus sizes for a little while longer, I guess.

Keep writing these down.  It's amazing to come back to them a year out and see just how far you have come.  Congrats!  Keep up the good work!

I'm about four years out and I still have a list of milestones and victories in my journey and a before picture posted on my frig. They help keep me motivated to make the best choices each and every day.
