Hi Everyone!

QOTD:  Walking my two dogs is usually my exercise.  I have a stationary bike in the garage, (no room for it in the house), but it's been too hot in the garage to ride it lately.

Yesterday I went to a birthday party for my niece and had (gasp) a small piece of cheesecake.  (just being honest here).  I have to say, it was delicious!  My other food from yesterday included 2 Clif protein bars, a couple bites of prime rib, meatloaf, cottage cheese, Oikos yogurt and moon cheese.  My eating today will probably be similar (without the cheesecake).

Morning All!

Starting out today in a good mood, for no good reason... I always like that! Hubs returns today from his extended trip in Dallas, so I'll pick him up at the airport this evening! Woot Woot!

Yesterday's ideas of a menu plan went out the window when I found myself stuck, yet again, on this Yellow curry/albacore tuna packet I picked up at Sprouts... I guess I just didn't chew it well enough. Again. I don't know. I see my doctor on Aug 23rd. I'm having a talk with him then...

B: Shake

S: 6 cashews

L: Albacore curried tuna packet - less than 1/2 of the 7 ounce packet

D: Nada, nothing... waiting on tuna to give it up. Give it up it did, finally!

S: Shake (tried to get some protein in)

QOTD: Ugh. Exercise. Yes. I'm supposed to incorporate that... so I quite using the elevator at work for going down the stairs... I've gone up the stairs a couple of times... I park in the back row at work now (thanks new car!)... But I have yet to start anything 'proper' as of yet. And now I'm feeling guilty again ;) One of these days, my plan is to join the 10-gym in between work and home. They have a couple of classes I know I'll like... and I WILL get there, soon.

I got pork stuck again last night. It is SO unpleasant. I finally fell asleep and when I woke up it was gone.

It really does just stink!

Although I made it all day yesterday without an issue... I seem to go several days doing well, then BAM! I must get complacent in something, but honestly I dont' know what it is...

On the plus side, it surely makes it easier not to try out things I know I shouldn't have!

Started the thread at the same time as AB and deleted mine quickly.

May I did a ton of yoga, June and july just have gone to the free sessions. I was using the c10 k app on my phone but have been a total slacker and not wanting to jog outside in the heat- hopefully it is just a phase. I have a Pilates reformer in the spare room I've been using- but overall- been a slacker compared to the last 2 months. Been thinking to join this gym 15 min away- it would only be $25 and they have les mills classes including yoga, zumba and acqua aerobics which i think i want to try out. I may do a few sessions there and see how I like it.

 

scale hasn't moved in 5 days.

I love the Les Mills classes! I love, love, love BodyPump, though I've been giving it a break since I'm taking TRX.

Good morning everyone! Off work today to get my kiddos to their first day of school. After that I've spent my morning soliciting for donations at local businesses for a non-profit I work with, who has a fundraising dinner coming up. There's nothing I hate worse than asking for donations! 

Qotd: I have been a true slacker. I tried bikram yoga recently because the classes worked with my schedule but it was so difficult and I had to get up at 3:30 to make it happen. Excuses! 

B- sausage patty and Irish tea with creamer

L- getting. Ready to eat some bbq ribs. Yum. 

D- polish sausage on grill

S- probably leftover ribs

I'm currently 80% through a $1 million capital campaign and I've learned to enjoy asking for donations.

Here's my best tip: remember that you're not asking your parents for beer money, you're asking people to contribute to something that is meaningful to you and (presumably) the community! Once I got that straight in my head it became a lot easier for me to ask for money.

Good morning Anny! I hope AV is feeling okay.  

We are in the car making the first leg of our two day drive home.  We only do 6 hours at a time to not make it horrible on the toddler.  He's currently sleeping, so that's good.  

I got to meet Audrey and her hubby Michael here yesterday.  We had so much fun.  We hung out by the pool, and had some yummy food. It was so nice to meet another of my OH peeps.

Food is up in the air today since we're traveling.  This morning,  i had 2 eggs, bacon and a few bites of yummy biscuit. I'll go protein forward for lunch and dinner.
