Surgury scheduled for August 9, 2016

I had the gastric sleeve done back a few years ago and it made my GERD worse.  Found out the Dr never should have done the sleeve since I had GERD.  Now they say the lower sphincter muscle in my esophagus has little to no resistance and I acid has caused ulcers in my esophagus, I have a hernia in my stomach and also polyps in my stomach.  They are recommending RNY as the only option to 'fix' my problem with GERD.  The normal surgery for fixing GERD is not an option because of the sleeve.

so, has anyone else had the sleeve followed by RNY?  Did you have any issues??

I did not have the sleeve - I only had RNY.   They fixed a hiatal hernia during the RNY surgery and my heartburn disappeared!!  That was almost as good as the weight loss.
