I came back and saw my account was started 12 years ago.. thats just crazy so I started a new one.  12 years ago was when I started this journey  Last Sept finally got insurance that after jumping through some hoops would allow.  Got approved in 1 day after 9 months of prep work and my surgery is scheduled at University Hospital Geauga with Dr Khaitan for this Friday.  Had my endoscope last Friday have a small hital hernia she will repair during the surgery. Any hospital tips to get on track right away?

Have a pillow to hug on the way home when you go over bumps! And follow the plan as your surgeon and program lay it out.

To add to the tip of a pillow for the trip home, you might consider stopping halfway home to walk around the car a couple of times.

I was happy to have slip on shoes for walking, and warm roomy clothes for in the hospital.  I absolutely hate hospital gowns, so had a large night gown that was easy to slip over my head.
