Are pickles a yes or no for a snack?

How far out from surgery are you? They are kind of raw, and I had issues with raw veggies early out.

I would say pickles are fine, high in sodium, so if you retain water or have high blood pressure, be aware of your sodium content. Of course, if you are talking about sweet bread and butter pickles, only the sugar free versions are acceptable as far as I'm concerned.

Make sure you add them to your totals, every little bit ads up!

I had surgery march of 2015. I've been craving those baby dill pickles!

My dr. said pickles are fine but wait about a 1 1/2 months post surgery due to the seeds. Like Pammieann said just be mindful of the sodium in dill pickles. I rinse mine off to reduce it.

Absolutely.  As long as they are low NSA type. (no sugar added)

You may be craving them because your body need sodium or the acids.

I have days I may eat a large jar of pickles...then the next day I don't care for any....until a week or so later...

If the skin is tough - peel it. But even my finicky pouch has no problem with pickles.
