Read one of the 8 billion posts on the three week stall. You are exactly on course so far. Whether you wat 1200 calories or 200, you will start to lose again.

Kicking up calories that high, this soon, would be a mistake you will eventually regret.

I'm 6'3", and kept my calories super low. Most days, I was burning 3 times as many calories in exercise as I was eating -- according to Fitbit. I never went into "starvation mode" or any of that nonsense.

Nutritionists and surgeons have never walked in our shoes. Much of yheir advice is based on averages, non-WLS lifestyles, athletes, and liability lawyers.

Get the weight off, fast.

That voice in the back of our heads will ALWAYS tell us it's better to eat more. That voice made us morbidly obese.

Get the weight off, fast.

The best way to do that is keep your calories as low as you can while getting in your essential protein.

Thanks for the advice.

So far I've had no issues with vomiting, nausea, dumping, walking, getting in my water or protein, while following my Drs & nuts guidance. We're trying this for a week. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't, but we're all different & we won't know til I try it. YMMV

If you read the posts of the most successful WLS losers they have all followed what Grim and Daisydoo recommend.  The best advice I've found is from the Vets here on OH. My support group leader said we should eat 1700 calories, clearly too many for almost anyone to lose weight on!

That is crazy, that is more calories than I was eating on average BEFORE surgery.

After my last post and being told I was rude, all I am going to say is listen to the vets, they know what they are talking about.
