LOL!

also, I took my immersion blender and pureed it *slightly* (well - maybe half-way).  I wanted it thicker, but I also wanted some whole chickpeas in there..

I am in a 1/2 day quality program retreat, and am covertly posting, so this wil be a quick one. Shhhhh. Don't rat me out.

CAMAW went well again yesterday, and I was down 5 pounds this morning!  Yay!  Meat is great for releasing water weight.  I may actually extend another week to really reset, and totally kick the carbs to the curb.

QOTD:  I am a recycler, and it is actually mandatory in Portland. I have 3 bins for paper/plastic/metal, glass and food scraps/yard debris.  We also have deposits on cans and bottles here in Oregon.  I am too lazy to take them back to a redemption center, so I separate them out and leave them by the recycling at curbside. Someone always picks them up, and it is usually someone who is homeless.  That makes me feel like I am helping them a little.

B:  Egg Beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette

S: 2 hard boiled eggs

D: 4 oz chicken thigh

S:  Chicken sausage link

D: 3 oz rib eye

S: 2 oz deli roast beef

Have a great day everyone.  I have to pay attention now.

 Height: 5'7".  HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!

Way to go on 5 pounds! Awesome.  I am feeling less bloated and have been visiting the ladies room even more than normal so I guess I also was holding on to some water.

Hello everyone. I threw myself quite the pity party yesterday. I was a weepy, emotional, unmotivated mess. I'm trying to reenter the job market and since I spent 18 years with the same company I don't feel qualified for most of the postings I see and the interesting ones are part time. Financially it's becoming a challenge and when you mix in the hormones from weight loss and... life, it's just become overwhelming. Trying to push through and have a better day today, so far it's only slightly better. Blah. One good thing yesterday was dinner. We had ribs for the first time since surgery and my word they were amazing. We did a dry rub overnight, then put them in the crock pot for a bit before they hit the bbq. The dry rub was so flavourful and the meat went down better than any other I've tried thus far. 3 ribs = 3 meals so I had some for lunch today and there's another container waiting for me in the fridge. Today is also jerky day which I'm excited for. I prepared the strips yesterday and left them to marinate overnight. I'll let you know it goes!

QOTD Everyone recycles in our area. The list of what they take or don't take has changed some but as long as you sort your paper products from plastic and cans they pick up every week. There's no limit on the amount of recycling they will take but there is a one bag limit for garbage. I'm also one who will put things out of the garbage that should have been recycled.

B - shrimp

L - pork ribs (still amazing cold)

D - lemon pepper tuna

S - 2 turkey bites

totals 537 cal, 62g protein, 4g carbs

AMAW has made my total calories a little higher and my protein numbers lower but it has been an interesting challenge and has forced me to plan better. It has also forced me to post everyday which is something I've been trying to get in the habit of but often I end up only reading.

Yesterdays food...

Yep... 3 meals on one side plate... it's crazy.

Time to go sweat out some of my emotions. Hope everyone has a good day!
