Good Morning OH. Posting late and quickly because I forgot it's not a holiday where you are. I have the day off :)

QOTD: What local or state holidays do you have that no one else does? Ours is today - Patroit's Day which was originally about the Revolutionary War, but has since turned into the day that the state shuts down so we can run a marathon across half of it.

Food is up in the air. I had a tele-doc appointment yesterday about the gerd and she gave me some advice but I need to figure out how to plan that into actual meals today.

  • High Weight before LapBand: 200 (2008)
  • High Weight before RNY: 160 (2015)
  • Lowest post-op weight: 110 (2016)
  • Maintenance Weight: 120 (2017-2019)
  • Battling Regain Weight: 135 (current)

Good morning and happy Monday. Enjoy the day off! Glad the Telehealth gave you some ideas.

Weekend was ok, got all my errands and some yard work done on Saturday and a fantastic meal out with friends. I didn't feel great yesterday so didn't do much. Busy week ahead, I have to go into the office on Tuesday to meet up with some colleagues that are in for a systems conversion so that will be good. I'm taking part of the day off on Friday so of course, I will have to cram everything into 4.5 days.

QOTD - We don't have any state or local holidays that aren't federal holidays.

Going for a walk this morning for my exercise before I start work and will maybe do some stretching or yoga this evening.

Good mornin y'all! QJB, I hope you find something that'll help!

Kind of a busy day. I have an appointment with my peer support friend since I won't likely feel up to it Thursday. Then we need to go to Sam's and then we'll pick up the kids after school. My mom was in a decent mood yesterday for the most part. About an hour before I move into my bedroom for the night she got angry at something I said. If looks could kill I'd be dead a million times over. I have to walk on egg shells 24/7. No movement on moving. I shouldn't of gotten my hopes up.

QOTD: it used to be June-tenth but it's a national one now. I'm not sure of any other ones. I'm sure there is but I can't remember them.

B: oatmeal and coffee x2

L: roast(which turned out delicious!)

D: ???? Possibly more roast.

Hello menu peeps! Julia I'm glad you got some gerd advice, no meds? How fab to have today off! I don't think we have any special Maryland days. Living in dc, working in tech, I'm always envious how many federal holidays there are. We don't get Easter Monday or Presidents' Day or anything, but all my neighbors do!

I had an amazing long weekend with my friend visiting. We had multiple days of 17,000+ steps. Even wanting to lose more of my regain, I alsready feel lighter and with more energy. I still can't believe I ever moved through the world at my highest weight. I remember doing things like plotting what hotel to stay at for a conference so I wouldn't have to walk a lot. Now I plan entire days that just involve walking.

Another short week for me. Some girlfriends and I are spending Friday at Balkan Spa in VA. It's super pricy (we aren't even doing services!) but we will spend the day in pools and saunas and Himalayan salt rock rooms and just having good girl time. I can't wait. But, like Jen, that's a whole week stuffed into 4 days!

B: andouille chicken sausage and goat cheese

L: Leftover chicken quesadilla made with smoked chicken

D: tbd, depends what my Seattle friend is feeling like, there are lots of options down at National Harbor (American, Southern, Mexican, Thai) so it will be a game time decision.

Off to the gym now!!! Have a wonderful day!

At my heaviest weight, EVERYTHING got planned. Every trip across the house, I would make sure I made one trip instead of two. Stairs especially. I would load up like a pack mule to climb the stairs once, instead of 2 or 3 times.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
