OT graham update

Grahams tumor was removed yesterday and she seems to be dealing with everything ok. Not in a lot of pain or anything. It was sent out for biopsy and we won't really know anything until the results come back. My vet consulted an oncologist and she seems to think it is probably an unrelated tumor. I'mnot sure whether that is good or bad news. Are we dealing with an aggressive cancer or 2 less aggressive tumors or what? Just have to wait to see.

Thanks everyone who express concern.

Let us know what pathology says. I'm sure the wait is hard! I didn't comment on her picture when you posted it, but she is a cutie! Glad she does not seem to be in a lot of pain!!

Your vet wouldn't even hazard a guess as to whether it was malignant or not ? Mine always takes a small slice and looks under the microscope to see if the cells are normal or "funky".

I hate the waiting....

She had already done that and told me it was what was called a round cell tumor from what I've read it is most likely malignant when you consider she has already had one removed but not necessarily. This is why we removed it because it looked like it could be something bad.

I am so sorry. I love my critters... lost my rhidgeback at 12 to osteosarcoma--a really fast moving cancer, and know the heartache. I lost my last Great Dane to Dialated Caridiomyopathy, that was even more difficult...but, as hard as it is to lose them, it is impossible for me to live without a dog around.

Blessings to you.
