Interesting, although I don't think the solution will ever be found in a pill. Just another excuse for the pharmaceutical industy to prey upon the wallets of the obese.

Wow, that's a huge deal genetically! Maybe they will develop some kind of gene therapy (that works). People don't realize that one tiny bit of one gene can cause disastrous effects in the body.

I couldnt help but think when I read the article and it said "half a billion people worldwide are obese" Not me, no longer me. That's one club that I am thrilled to part ways with!

I'm out of time waiting the medical miracle and I'm ready to do this!  I'm sure in time they will work on this and there is alot of money to be made, but not for my generation.

It's a shame about all the contempt people still hold for overweight/obese people (as I read the comments to the article at the end). I wish all those haters could spend just a day in our shoes!
