Emergency Room [currently]
been here for a few hrs. been throwing up. can't even keep two sips of water down so im not surprised im dehydrated.
been having killer reflux issues too, took some oral Nexium, that came up too =/ im two weeks out & feel like crap.
im in a normal ER so they aren't so familiar w the VSG which makes it hard for them to understand i can gulp dwn this 30ml cup of "contrast" in an hour. smh.
hope they figure out something i need to get my liquids in.
pray for me.

Can you/have you contacted your surgeon yet? The local ER is only good for stabilization (IV fluids). If you want the correct kind of treatment you need to be seen in the same hospital that your surgeon and the rest of the bariatric team work out of if at all possible. If not then find out what hospital in the area does have a bariatric program and go there for help. I know how it is. Out of the dozen or so hospitals around me, there are two that understand WLS within a 50 mile radius of where I live and both of them are a long drive for me.
