Is Jello a liquid or a solid??

Does sugar-free jello count as a liquid?  I know when I make it it's a whole lot of water and a little bit of powder but can I use it to satisfy my requirement for 64 oz of liquids a day?  It's listed in my surgeon's literature as something you can have on the pre-op LIQUID diet, but nowhere does it say specifically that you can use it to satisfy the liquid requirement post-op.  Does anyone know???

Sugar-free jello is considered a clear liquid, and it does count toward your fluid tally for the day.

Jello is water with a gelatin suspended within the liquid.  The liquid (water) is still present, but in a augmented/modified state. The volume is still the same.

liquid.  If it melts to a liquid...it is a liquid.

I agree with all above liquid! I practically lived on that and surgar free popcicles after surgery. I am so glad it was warm those few weeks!
